I've been looking for some good carne fritas after one of my favorite restaurants closed, and this food truck might be even better. The fried pork chunks are amazing and super garlicy. Prices are fair and portions are plentiful. Will be returning.

My wife and I came here tonight and the food was simply amazing. The pork chops were seasoned and cooked perfectly, the rice was great, and the empanada was delicious. We also tried the yuca fries — so good! Highly recommend!!

The beef and the chicken empanadas were very tasty with plenty of meat. The alcapurrias were good but it tasted like they were overcooked, not golden brown like I am used to, they were more darker.

Only one word can describe the food and that's DELICIOUS!!!! Every bite was the same word coming out of our mouth is just that amazing that for a place so small for all that flavor to come out is amazing. I'm definitely a loyal customer the food is the bonus cus the owners Edwin and taína treat you and make you feel like if we've been friends for ever love this place already. It's so important to support our mom and pops restaurants just like this cus they hold they to the real soul food.

Great food. The steak and onion and pork were great. Rice and beans were solid, a little on the sweeter side. I shoulda asked for hot sauce. I’d say lose the basic salads that came with it but I appreciated the avocado. The fried fish (bacaliatos) was fantastic and would come back just for that again. Deserves its own location but love the hustle. Keep it up!

We used them on March 10th to cater our wedding and omg the food was amazing!!! They are such a great, kind, loving couple who love making food for people and it shows through their food. I would definitely 1000% recommend them for any of your catering needs or just stop by and grab some lunch. Everything was beautiful and looked amazing. Thank you so much for making our day even more special with your Amazing food!!!!

The food was bangin!!!!!!!! Authentic Puerto Rican food, the bacalaitos were golden not burnt and they WERE COOKED RIGHT!!!!, I hate when they come underdone, but here that is not an issue, they were literally the size of your head, that’s how they are traditionally served on the island. The owners are from NYC which brought me back home. I really enjoyed the pinchos and everything I ordered to be honest. It’s nice to see people doing it the right way, and not just cooking. Eating Puerto Rican food and being from NYC is a whole experience in itself. It’s a culture that can’t be duplicated and to be honest at Nuyorican Kitchen you will get that
